A comprehensive conference programAPPEA 2012 offers the Australian Oil and Gas industry and its suppliers a forum in which to share knowledge, innovative ideas on best practice, case studies and experiences, and new technologies and equipment.
The APPEA Conference, year after year continues to deliver a top quality event that educates, provokes debates and witnesses the meeting of the key players in the oil and gas industry.
In 2012, the trend continues as APPEA 2012 has attracted some of the world's most renowned and respected international and Australian speakers to lead the 52nd APPEA Conference program, addressing the theme "The Energy Revolution."
His Excellency Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Petroleum & Mineral Resources, Ms Maria van der Hoeven, who took up the reins as Executive Director of the IEA in 2011, Mr Christophe de Margerie, Chairman and CEO of Total and Mr J Michael Yeager, the Chief Executive of BHP Billiton Petroleum.
Mr David Knox, Managing Director of Santos Limited and new APPEA Chairman, Mr Peter Coleman, the new Managing Director of Woodside Energy Limited, Mr Kevin Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer of Clough Limited , Mr Paul Zealand, the Chief Executive Officer Upstream of Origin Energy Limited, Mr Duncan Fraser, the Vice President of the National Farmers' Federation.
Over the three days, they will be joined by Ms Emma Cochrane Vice President, Asia Pacific, Africa and Power for ExxonMobil Gas & Power Marketing, and Mr Andrew Logue, Executive Vice-President, Siemens Limited, the company's Head of Energy Oil & Gas Division, based in Singapore and key political figures, South Australian Premier, the Hon Jay Weatherill, and Federal Resources & Energy Minister, the Hon Martin Ferguson, will also address the conference.
